I’ve just finished reading REFLECTED IN YOU and it’s so different than BARED TO YOU. I enjoyed the first book but for some reason, it “clicked” for me in REFLECTED IN YOU for personal reasons. The warped emotional issues that Gideon and Eva go through are so real that it’s scary. It’s like I can feel the energy of the characters, their emotional ups and downs, highs and lows. It could be because they are victims of horrible abuse but Ms. Day doesn’t let them stay victims because along the way they become stronger individuals. Yet it’s still a work in progress. The secondary characters are still as crazy, flawed and need of a little therapy but isn’t that what all of us need. It’s called reality. Overall, REFLECTED IN YOU is not the end but a continuation with an explosive ending that will have readers breathless but feeling like Gideon and Eva “might” succeed if they don’t self-destruct first.
