Savannah Sophia Moore has relocated from Georgia and purchased the Golightly place, where she is preparing to open her Savannah Soap Company along with a shop, Heavenscent, where she will sell the lotions and soaps she makes. The townspeople have been a godsend, befriending her and helping her to get settled and ready for the opening. She recently lost her beloved grandmother and is now alone in the world. Savannah has had trouble in her past, due to her former relationship with a police officer named Kyle and his mother Francine. Having met the local man in uniform, Zach, she is reminded strongly of Kyle, and Celeste, the woman who runs Angel Rest in town, reminds her of Francine. Those two people had made her life a living nightmare and she fears the people in town discovering about her troubled past. Due to these people from her past, she does not like even being touched and just wants to get on with her life and a fresh start. At the recent town meeting, she was tricked into volunteering on a committee with the last man in town she wants to spend time with…Zach.
At first, Zach is determined not to let this newly arrived ex-con damage his small town, but as he works alongside her, he begins to see the real Savannah and his feelings for her deepen. But can he get past the walls she has erected around her heart so they can have a future together? Will the people of Eternity Springs accept Savannah when they discover her secret past, or will they turn their backs on her?
A feel good book, REFLECTION POINT, the sixth book in New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Emily March’s ETERNITY SPRINGS series, is a heartwarming, passionate contemporary tale that will touch your heart. Like the rest of the books in this wonderful series, it captured my attention from the very beginning and held on right up to the end. A fast-paced, intriguing story with plenty of emotion, secrets, mystery, passion, second chances and love, REFLECTION POINT is a story that I hated to see end. Ms. March’s phenomenal storytelling ability brings the characters to life right before your eyes and allows you to empathize with the true-to-life characters. Although this story can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading the entire series for further background into the city of Eternity Springs and its fascinating people as well as for the entertainment value. As I look forward to the next installment to this series, MIRACLE ROAD, which is due to be released at the end of October 2013, run, do not walk to the nearest bookstore and pick up a copy of REFLECTION POINT. I recommend it highly.
