Remember Me?

Lexi is having the world’s most crappy day.  After being stood up by her boyfriend, losing a Christmas bonus because she hadn’t been at her job for a year (she missed it by one week) and getting ready for her father’s funeral, Lexi does not need any more bad news or luck.  Alas, it wasn’t meant to be as she trips and falls while hailing a cab.  The next thing she remembers is waking up in the hospital when everything suddenly changes.  She has a svelte new body, has veneers, a great job and is married to a gorgeous, rich husband.  The only problem is she doesn’t remember…any of it.  As she struggles to rebuild her life, Lexi finds that the old and the new Lexi are not the same person.  Is she that confident, sexy woman or the one who is still struggling to find her identity?

REMEMBER ME? is a funny and delightful read.  I loved Lexi.  She wasn’t this high-powered woman but rather someone trying to figure out her life.  Her reactions are funny yet heartfelt and I could really identify with her.  She was a fish out of water but she still was true to her old self.  I think she realized that she didn’t like her new self but still had to reconcile that things have changed and she has to as well.  But that doesn’t mean she can’t make a few modifications.  Her love life is surprisingly complicated and in a way I didn’t know who I wanted to root for which amazed me.  Each man isn’t perfect but they are good guys although “the one” is better.  Overall, I have to say REMEMBER ME? is a book that I would recommend to any reader who enjoys a bit of laughter and drama in their books.
