Allie met Sam twenty years ago when they were both counselors at Camp Sunset. They spend a lot of time flirting and teasing over the summer and finally falling in love, then distance and dreams pull them apart but they have stayed friends. Now years later, their children are getting married giving Allie the golden opportunity to see the man she’s dreamed about for the past twenty years.

Sam fell in love with Allie the moment he saw her. She has her dreams of climbing mountains though, and he has his life and responsibilities in Vermont. What they share is very special, but he needed a woman that would be comfortable staying in Independence, Vermont. Though they both married other people, they’re both single now, Allie’s divorced and Sam lost his wife to cancer. His son’s wedding to Allie’s daughter brings them face to face for the first time in years. Allie tells her friends that she did her make over in order to play "mother of the bride" and maybe that is part of it, but the black lace camisole and matching panties had nothing to do with motherly thoughts. Sam is arriving to help with the final preparations for the wedding of their children. After getting off the plane, Sam indulges in a soft kiss with her and suddenly the years are gone and they are the people they used to be. Only to have the fantasy disappear by two shocked voices-their children. Finding time to satisfy their cravings for each other proves impossible among the frantic pace of getting everything set up for the wedding. Will Allie and Sam find time to be together without the entire wedding party? There’s still the problem of distance and responsibilities as well. Will they only have the short time before Sam’s plane leaves or will they find some solution so they can stay together? Do you remember that special someone from camp, church, school, wherever? That one person you never forgot and always wondered "what if?" REUNION lets you experience the magic of rediscovering that special love that slipped away but was never forgotten. Allie and Sam are so obviously deeply in love, it’s a love that’s carried over through two decades and yet still burns strongly. Their individual and family needs have kept them apart but they accepted what they could get, and continued their friendship through the years. Kelsey Lewis does a beautiful job of bringing humor into the story by comparing the days from camp and their sexual frustration with the problems of not finding any time to satisfy themselves now due to a house full of their kids’ wedding party. REUNION brings back memories that I cherish and I hadn’t thought of in a long time. A wonderful story, definitely a keeper!
