How do you know when you meet Mr. Right?  Are there bells and whistles, is lightening supposed to strike?  Well actually, lightening did strike and the heavens opened up when Dana met Randy; she helped him with a stranded vehicle during a horrible thunderstorm.  Dana felt a twinge of regret when dropping him off at the local garage since he was the first man in over five years who had made her tingle.  A couple of meddling friends and an unwanted blind date end up throwing them together again.  After an incredible night, business problems take Dana away for a few days, and the 'morning after' chasm gets wider and wider.  Soon enough, Dana believes that she has missed her window of opportunity with Randy.

Randy is justifiably angry when he does finally pin Dana down.  He had thought that their one perfect night was the beginning of a hot and lasting relationship.  Unbeknownst to Dana he had only slipped out to tend to his dog but by the time he returned, she had left and stayed gone for a few days.  Can these two work out this misunderstanding and have the elusive 'happily ever after'?

RIGHT FROM THE START is a feel good story for those who love their happy endings.  Randy and Dana get off to a rocky start that leads to a perfect night, which leads to a rocky beginning.  These two are tailor made for each other but the problem is getting them to realize it before they mess up any chances that they have.  Superbly written with hot and sexy love scenes and common second thoughts, RIGHT FROM THE START is a wonderful short story that has me searching bookshelves for more of Ms. Forrest's work.
