ROCK REDEMPTION is the long anticipated story between "almost lovers" Noah and Katherine "Kit" Devigny. I knew that Noah had some darkness in his life but nothing prepared me for Ms. Singh's storytelling and how she peeled back the layers to his personality and background. To see him still standing shows how much strength he has and how his friends support him even though they may not always approve of his current lifestyle. One of his bright lights in his life is Kit. In his mind, she is golden and he would do anything for her even if it means pushing her away. Whether it's a stalker or a movie role of a lifetime up for grabs, Noah will do whatever it takes to make sure Kit is safe and reaches her movie star potential.
Kit doesn't understand why Noah is so mean to her and wants to just be friends but if it is the difference between life or death, she will grit her teeth and be a friend. But the more they spend time together, she realizes that something bad happened to him when he was young. When he finally confesses to her, rather than push him away, she embraces the man and together they try to find a middle ground. It was like they weren't ready for a relationship then but now they are. It was nice to see all the previous couples from the other books make an appearance but the next book may trump ROCK REDEMPTION as far as angst is concerned. I just wonder what Ms. Singh has up her sleeve. Overall, ROCK REDEMPTION lives up to its name and can't wait for the next book to see what happens with Abe and Sarah.
