Professor Greg Laurie knows well his girlfriend Olivia’s aversion to storms so like the gentleman he is, he races to her home to help her prepare for the incoming hurricane and of course comfort her.  What he doesn’t expect is to discover that someone else has beaten him to it – and he’s not very happy to finally come face to face with the man he views as ‘his competition.’

Olivia Neal makes no apologies for having two lovers.  After all, it was the men who wanted to be able to see other people.  She just simply honored their wishes.  Up until now it’s never been an issue but having both men under one roof with her is a bit disconcerting – not because of the tension between them, but because her imagination is imagining all sorts of wicked things the three of them could be doing.

Mechanic Jack Randall might be ‘blue collar’ but he’s more than able to hold his own when it comes to battling it out with Greg over Olivia.  Greg might have met her first but Jack makes her needs a priority.  After all, he’s already at her home getting ready to board up windows while Greg was attending a stuffy faculty dinner.   In fact, the only thing Jack thinks he might have screwed up on is insisting on being able to see other people.

Aside from Greg and Jack’s back and forth one-upping each other Olivia is thrilled to have them together at her home.  It’s the first time the men have ever met, and yes it’s a little uncomfortable but still has her mind racing about all the naughty things they could do to together to help distract her from the storm.  Unfortunately the men aren’t into sharing and really don’t like each other which could be a bit of a problem.  Olivia, on the other hand, isn’t about to choose one man over the other, they both have qualities and fetishes that she particularly enjoys.  It’s going to be up to the men to decide if they are willing to indulge the lady and make what could be a completely miserable night into one she’ll never forget.

Storms are terrifying for many people so it’s no wonder we’d find ways of distracting ourselves – and Olivia is no exception.  Forget the board games, comfort food and panic… just break out the candles, make sure the sheets are clean and have your lovers, both of them, show up to comfort you in your time of need.  Alright, so that’s just a fantasy played out in the pages of Liz Andrews and Lena Matthews’ book ROCK YOU LIKE A HURRICANE, but it’s definitely an appealing proposition.   With witty dialogue, fun imaginative characters and a stormy situation this is a fun read that you’ll want to have downloaded to your e-reading device before the next storm hits.
