Administrative assistant Trish Andrews has worked for Jonathon Rutledge for three years. In those three years, she has fantasized and fallen in love with him. If Trish is honest, she knows that an office romance is not feasible; however, she just wants one night with him to get him out of her system, and to give herself something to dream about. The perfect opportunity comes along and she jumps at the chance.

Jonathon Rutledge accepts his friend's invitation to a masked party. When he walks into the ballroom, he is floored by an attractive, seductive blond on the dance floor. No one knows who she is, who she is with, or where she came from. Taking matters in his own hands, Jonathon sets out to conquer her. Only, he might be the one conquered when he realizes she has left him after the most passionate and sexually fulfilling night of his life.

Samantha Gentry has penned a wonderful "Cinderella" story with MASKED ENCOUNTER. Although Jonathon is not a royal prince, his heart beats strongly for his lover and nothing stops him from searching for her. Trish, on the other hand, doesn't want to believe in happy ever after but soon realizes that one night just might not be enough for her. I applauded her audacity and creatively and just sincerely enjoyed MASKED ENCOUNTER. I look forward to reading more books by Samantha Gentry.
