Saving Noah

Since leaving college when his father died, Noah Stoffel has run the family farm the best he can. Try as he might, though, things keep falling behind. His mother isn't able to help due to failing health. To meet financial demands, Noah takes on every additional chore and job people in his small town offer. He wants to sell the farm but his mother and his own guilt over selling family heritage prevents it. Noah isn't one to dwell on the cards life dealt him, but he knows there should be something more out there waiting for him.

Then he walks into Ruby's Diner one afternoon to buy his mother's favorite pie as a treat, and spots Dexter Krispin. Noah's world is turned upside down.

Seeking a quiet place with few distractions in which to complete his doctoral thesis, Dexter Krispin didn't come to tiny Kismet, Kansas for romance. Yet when he spends a short span of time with naïve, innocent Noah, he's captivated. In a brief time he falls in love.

When Dex discovers the secret the whole town keeps and which binds Noah to the farm which he clearly can't handle alone, he's furious. But can he save Noah without destroying him in the process?

SAVING NOAH is a love story between two engaging men, but it's more a tale about a man caught in an emotional trap set and primed by someone he should have been able to trust. The trauma Noah faces is well written as is the relationship between the two. If you're a fan of same-sex romance, this is a good one to pick up.
