Luna Clark really hates having to ask Joe Winston for help.  It isn't that she is afraid he will say no, she is certain that he will say yes and THAT'S what worries her.  Being with him and finding the strength to say no to him.  It was hard enough resisting his sexy, take charge attitude three months ago when they were together at his cousins wedding and in the time that they have been apart her desire for him has not decreased.   However, she has just taken on the responsibility of two children who have managed to get a whole town angry with them, and Joe is the only person she knows who is intimidating enough and dangerous enough to help her face whatever awaits her and the children.   Luna has no idea that Joe is going to bring along his own danger.

Joe doesn't care WHY Luna is back in his life he is just glad that she is.  From the minute she threw a plate of food in his face three months ago he has wanted her, and no other woman would do.  He is floored when he learns why she needs his help but is not about to let this opportunity pass by.  He figures playing house will be the perfect chance for him to wear down her resistance to him and two kids can't really be that much trouble - can they?

In Say No To Joe? Lori Foster takes her writing to a whole new dimension and her readers on an emotional roller coaster ride that encompasses hilarity, sensuality, healing, tenderness, trust and unconditional love.   I thought that I had read enough of Ms. Fosters work to know what to expect when I enter the world that she creates for her characters but this book absolutely blew me away.  The plot summary doesn't even come close to telling you what goes on within the pages of this masterpiece.  There are enough sub-plots in this book alone to keep her writing about secondary characters for the next several years.  But not once is the reader lost in the maze of characters and plots just more intrigued with every turn of the page.  The way everything comes together at the end left me laughing out loud, shaking my head and asking myself how did she DO that?  The only problem I see with this book is that Ms. Foster is going to have one heck of a time topping this one.
