Nick slips into the bedroom to enjoy a tryst with his sometimes lover. The body of the woman he’s enjoying can’t possibly belong to Tess. Before too much longer, the woman beneath him really wakes up and isn’t too happy about her predicament.
Celestine is still recovering from a devastating blow by her former roommate, Julia Bailey. Julia stole just about everything Celestine owned and also took her credit cards which she maxed out. Celestine has spent the last year trying to recover and pay off all those debts.
Nick is very taken with the young woman. In fact, he’s fallen in love. The man who loves ‘em and leaves ‘em has finally been hit with Cupid’s arrow. Unfortunately, she can’t make up her mind whether she wants a man in her life.
Celestine’s world begins to crumble when her used car breaks down on the road. A violent man, Lester, tries to take her car away from her but Nick has followed her and runs the man off.
Lester doesn’t give up. For some reason he’s determined to take the rattle trap car away from her. What could he possibly want with it?
Amarinda Jones’s SEDUCING CELESTINE is filled with a combination of humor and lots of hot sex. It’s also full of the kinds of violence that no woman should have to endure. No, there’s no rape; however, nasty slurs painted on the walls of her home, shots taken at her car should be more than enough. On top of that, she discovers who and what are behind the horrible things when she’s kidnapped.
The relationship that builds between Celestine and Nick kept me in stitches. The balance of the good and the bad made this a story I wanted to finish reading in one sitting. The fairy tales of my youth came rushing back in adult form as I read how the hero continually saves the day. Imagine waking up and seeing a masked man above you and feeling all kinds of delish things that he’s doing to your body.
Good and evil, love and lust abound and you don’t want to miss it. I highly recommend this story. Be prepared to laugh and cry. It’s a fantastic read!
