Roslyn Garrison lives for adventure. She enjoys all things material and became a spoiled heiress because of it. So naturally, when she is whisked away to a foreign city in Africa, she’s thrilled, right? Wrong. Roslyn awakens in a motel room with a mysterious stranger, unable to remember how she got there. He says Bane Riley is his name, yet the name doesn’t ring any bells. He knows her, and the longer she assesses him, the more she wonders how she knows him.

Bane Riley grew up with Roslyn and became known as the cleaning lady’s kid. They played together as kids before Roslyn crushed Bane’s heart and he broke off their relationship. Now Bane’s determined to teach Roslyn a lesson. Luring her away from the richness of her life, Bane brings her to Sun City. He only wants one thing from Roslyn while they spent time together. He wants to seduce her and walk away unscathed. He doesn’t, however, account for her stubbornness or flat out refusals of his dominate ways.

Holding her captive, Bane promises plenty of sinful deeds meant to tempt Roslyn into his submission. But Roslyn chooses to fight, leaving Bane with only one option…to teach her a lesson.

I must say,  SEXUAL PERSUASION appealed to me in many ways. Not only do the characters seem real, but the plot is fun and fast paced and the dialogue is quirky and believable. Bane is the type of guy every woman dreams of. He’s the alpha-dominate male, yet tender and caring when it matters most. Not to mention very yummy! Roslyn, however, relates to the reader by being confused of what she truly wants in life and more importantly, love. Though short in length, Ms. Rainey pulls you into her story with captivating writing that doesn’t let you go until the phrase “The End.” I recommend this story, and look forward to reading more of Ms. Rainey’s works in the future.
