Hailey Anderson’s recent nasty breakup with her boyfriend Daniel has her on edge. She’s sure that the time she spends in Hawaii for vacation with her brother and their friends will give him enough time to find someone else to focus his attention on. Admittedly she has no trouble focusing on her brother’s best friends Mark and Tony. They’re gorgeous but have always treated her like a little sister. Only something’s changed and Hailey isn’t quite sure how to react to the sudden shift in the way they treat her.
Mark Allen and Tony Adamo have harbored a secret desire for Hailey for years but didn’t want to risk ruining the longtime friendship their tight-knit group has enjoyed. They’re done waiting and thrilled that Hailey’s broken it off with her boyfriend. Now all they have to do is convince her to take them up on their proposition – a ménage à trois. They’re gorgeous, successful men who are smart enough to know that sharing Hailey is the ideal solution to their particular situation.
Vacationing in Hawaii couldn’t come at a better time for Hailey. She’d never admit it but Daniel’s behavior has become alarming and she’s more than a little frightened of him. She’s looking forward to some fun and sun on the beach with good friends and her brother before having to return to reality and deciding what to do next. Of course, having Mark and Tony strutting about in bathing suits is no hardship, but she certainly hadn’t anticipated them proposing a ménage between the three of them. What would her brother think and how will it affect their friendship? She’s not about to turn down the men who have starred in her fantasies but worries about the fallout of their actions.
Debut author Samantha Ann King more than fulfilled my expectations with SHARING HAILEY. It has the perfect blend of romance, suspense and drama with plenty of emotionally charged scenes to bring it all together. I loved how Hailey, Mark and Tony relate to each other on a friend level and manage to transition it into a romance that really works for them. There is an issue when the brother finds out about the threesome, but that I fully expected. What I didn’t seen coming was Daniel’s erratic behavior but found it fascinating because Ms. King clearly shows that anyone can become a victim of domestic abuse and escaping the situation isn’t anywhere near as easy as people like to think. SHARING HAILEY is sexy, fun, thought provoking and memorable – and I can’t wait to see what Ms. King writes next, but I’ll be waiting.
