Michael, a New York cold case cop, on his way to Trouble, Pennsylvania to visit his grandfather, spots a barefoot, angry woman on the side of the road and stops to help. Having just been transferred from Vice, where he was shot by a jealous female, he is justifiably leery of getting involved with anyone.

Jennifer Feeney, an author of sarcastic advice-to-women books, has been receiving threats from men who have been taking her books too seriously. She lives in New York, but is in Trouble, Pennsylvania, visiting her aunts, the two eccentric Feeney sisters. Since her father’s heart attack, she has been overseeing the care of her two crazy aunts; the same aunts who tricked her out of her shoes and car and left her stranded on the highway.

Seeing no other way to get home and armed with a tire iron, Jennifer accepts a ride with Michael, a complete stranger. The chemistry between the two is instantaneous and combustible . However, Mike has a very protective nature and Jen is an independent woman who does not want or need a man protecting her. Though they fight the attraction, fate, with a helping hand, brings them together time after time. Will they be able to overcome their differences and learn to trust, especially when Mike starts investigating one of her aunts?

I really liked SHE'S NO ANGEL.  It has something for everyone. This story is witty, romantic, suspenseful and hot. It should appeal to a wide range of readers. The wacky situations and eccentric secondary characters enrich the story and will keep you reading.
