Becky Brandon’s (nee Bloomwood) life is better than ever. Pregnant and happy, Becky is blooming! She is the personal shopper at a brand new store, The Look; she is house hunting with her sexy husband Luke for a fab new home for their growing family, and best of all, she has an A-list obstetrician taking care of her little one. Of course, there are a few, teensy, insignificant problems on the horizon that she did not expect. The Look is not doing very well unfortunately. It is kind of a disaster. House hunting also seems to be a flop, but worst of all, Becky discovers that Luke used to date her obstetrician! The cure-all is of course a bit of shopping, but even buying fashionable Baby Dior babygro’s are not putting her mind at ease. Perhaps it is time to do a little digging on the woman determined to ruin her marriage!

Whether shopping for baby clothes or trying to sabotage her obstetrician, Becky Brandon does it all with style! She is still the bright, vibrant and lovable character readers have come to know and love through the Shopaholic series. It is a real treat watching Becky and Luke prepare for their baby. Without giving too much away, there is a pram racing scene that is just hilarious and very touching.

Becky is of course her somewhat shallow and image-conscious self, but she is also turning into a mum slowly but surely as the story evolves. And her consideration, no matter what she is doing, is always first and foremost with the baby. Becky has come a long way and SHOPAHOLIC & BABY is another truly pleasurable adventure into her world. Becky is still shining and making readers laugh in this newest book.
