Something About Polly
Jun 1, 2009 - 12:13:42 PM
All Polly has ever wanted was to be independent. Not needing help on anything. Yet when she bids on the Marquis of Shoreham’s prize and wins his offer for wild sex, she is blown away.
When Adrian got conned into putting in an offer since it was for charity, he didn’t think Polly would go for it. But he becomes as shocked as she is when she agrees. Now he has to wonder will he be able to walk away when all is said and done?
When Polly showed up at the charity action with her best friend she was worried about her ex being there. But when she takes a glance and finds a handsome stranger in her view she gets all excited. Till she realizes he wants her friend. Next thing she knows she is bidding on his envelope for three wishes. When she wins she is not sure she really wants it till he makes a huge deal out of her taking it. And to her surprise its not for three wishes but for wild sex. And next thing she knows she wants it badly and will do anything to make him keep his word.
When Adrian first saw Polly he ignored her. Now that she’s taken up his offer he cant stop thinking about her, or stop wanting her. Unfortunately for him it seems she has a thing against the pampered elite. She knows she should try to break it off with him, but how can it be bad when her heart is saying he is oh so good?
SOMETHING ABOUT POLLY had me cracking up at times, squirmy in my seat at others. I didn’t know who to vote for. The strong willed Polly and agree with her view of the world or Adrian the son of the Duke who was expected to marry and produce an heir. I loved the entire story and couldn’t get enough.
Polly is just your average rich girl running away trying to find herself. I felt bad for her through out the book due to the fact she is very alone with the exception of Tara her best friend. That is until Adrian shows up. It’s hot, it’s spicy and it gave me my own idea’s for fun. I can’t wait to tell my friends all about SOMETHING ABOUT POLLY.
