SOMETHING SWEETER (SWEET, TEXAS #3) picked up where book two in the series, SWEETEST MISTAKE, leaves off.  I love when that happens in a series.  Sit back and relax in Sweet, Texas and visit with the Wilders, their extended family and their friends!

Terry's SOMETHING SWEETER is Jesse and Allison's story but it is so much more since it reunites us with the rest of the Wilder family and their loves and they all play a prominent role in this story.  We also find out more about Jared, the oldest Wilder brother, who was killed in Afghanistan.  It was poignant to have him and their deceased Dad still be part of the storyline but shows how big Terry's heart is to do so.  There was lots and lots of family, friends, parties, wedding planning, heartache, tears, happiness, laughter, promises, pets, romance and love.  The descriptions of the land, the ranch and the homes, especially Jesse's, were so vivid I felt I was there.   The emotions were real whether felt by a character in the book or me while I was reading. There were quite a few twists and turns and surprises along the way especially regarding Allison's sister, Danielle and her husband.  There was nice closure and a happily ever after that I guess we'll see come to fruition in the next book in the series.

I'm still looking forward to reading the first book in the series, ANYTHING BUT SWEET, since I've already read the second and third book in the series.  I was so glad to see at the back of this book the blurb for the next book in the series, SWEET SURPRISE, which is Fiona's story, Jackson's ex, and it should be another good read!  Terry has definitely been added to my always growing TBR pile and is fast becoming a favorite author.  Her books are reminiscent to me of the stories penned by Susan Mallery, Susan Wiggs, Sherryl Woods, Erin Nicholas and Carly Phillips amongst others with strong family ties, lots of loving and burn up the sheets romance!
