Brandy’s friends are all involved in menage a trois relationships and she’s more than a little envious of the bonds that the trios seem to have. She just can’t imagine herself involved in a menage with two men. She’d hoped to meet someone on the cruise who would interest her sexually but the last thing she expects is to find herself attracted to a married couple. Eric and Lin freely admit that they’re both attracted to Brandy and they’re hoping for more than just a casual vacation fling. They’ve got a few secrets which they’ve been keeping from Brandy which may or may not send her fleeing to the safety of the life she led before meeting the dynamic pair.
Brandy’s not a prude and she’s quite open-minded but not once has she ever imagined herself being attracted to another woman. She quickly accepts that she desires both Eric and Lin and they have a wonderful time together while on the cruise. It isn’t until the cruise is just about over that she discovers who Eric and Lin really are and to make matters even more complicated they reveal that they’re both sexual Dominants and want to continue the relationship once the cruise has come to an end. Brandy isn’t entirely comfortable with the thought of BDSM but she does have extremely strong feelings for Eric and Lin - she’ll soon discover that while their relationship is far from normal, it’s just what she needs in her life. Is she brave enough to accept all the aspects that being in a menage/BDSM relationship entails?
BRANDED is a very intense book and honestly I’m not really sure how to put my feelings about it into words. My emotions were all over the place as I read and I’d go from laughter, to shock, and even tears at one point. The BDSM depicted in this storyline is way more involved than I’m used to reading and I found myself squirming a bit because I wasn’t completely comfortable with some of it, however that didn’t stop my fascination with the characters or the emotions that they each exhibited for each other. My best advice on this book is to keep an open mind while reading and even if some aspects of the lifestyle depicted may not appeal to you, the emotional attachment that the characters exhibit more than likely will.
