Maybe it's been awhile since I've read a BLAZE book, or maybe it's just that I've never had the privilege of reading anything by Alison Kent before now. But ladies, I can tell you this. If you like your sex hot and steamy, if you like passion that literally explodes off the pages, and if you like your love-words cut, dried, and intense, then STRIPTEASE is the book for you!

Melanie Craine works for gIRL-gEAR.com, Vice President of a company who presents urban, upbeat fashions, cosmetics, and technology to emerging divas. She's ambitious to a fault, a woman who doesn't want or need a man or romance in her life. From the moment she meets Jacob Faulkner, her path in life takes a sharp turn, and her libido jumps into high gear.

Jacob is the videographer for the wedding of Melanie’s friend. He’s arrogant, rude, and unbelievably sexy. Sparks fly, nerves fray, and egos come crashing to the surface. Melanie is determined to have the wedding videotaped the way she believes would be best. Jacob is determined not to let this bitchy little woman tell him how to do his job.

When Mr. Faulkner brings her his own version of a mini-movie closely resembling the witch in THE TAMING OF THE SHREW, starring none other than Melanie as the lead, she’s furious. She’s pissed off. She vows revenge. It’s time to teach somebody a lesson. To do it, she stages a steamy striptease…on tape. That she boldly sends to Mr. Smarty-Pants.

What ensues is hilarious, intriguing, and at times downright raunchy. Ladies, this book is guaranteed to leave you hot and bothered. And excited. And wanting for more. I shifted back and forth between wanting to find another story by Ms. Kent, and wanting to grab a camcorder.

I can guarantee that this is one story that you won’t want to stop reading. Romance, passion, erotica; it’s all here, and in one of its greatest forms. Kudos to Ms. Kent for a book that shows that the romance world knows what we want, and is still willing to give it to us.
