With her normal stylist unavailable, Bridget has little choice but to trust Jarvis, the replacement stylist, to tame her tresses. She’s not at all confident in his abilities but he offers a huge discount if she’ll allow him to work his magic. Getting his hands on Bridget is a dream come true for Jarvis. He’s aware of her vulnerability and sees her for the beauty she truly is and sets out to help her view herself in a different light.
As Jarvis transforms Bridget through the power of a new look and plenty of confidence boosting flirting, there’s no denying that there’s a powerful attraction between them. That’s as far as it goes though since they’re both committed elsewhere – which is a bit disappointing initially but turns out to be a blessing in disguise later on. While STYLE ME SEXY is a short read, it’s a feel good story that made me smile and wish the world had more people like Jarvis, whose positive attitude just seems to rub off on those around them. Bridget’s extremely easy to relate to – not just because of her inability to see her self-worth but because she’s stuck in a rut and without that extra push from Jarvis might not have ever tried something new. I do wish this story had been a bit longer, but did enjoy visiting these characters and reading about their encounter.
