When JD Andrews decided to hang out at his parents place for the summer, a summer fling was not in the cards, but after one heated connection with the tall hunky cop that pulled him over on his way there – he starts rethinking this decision.

Russell Seaver, local cop and all round good guy is thrilled when he pulls over a motorist and gets more than he bargained for in one night. When one night becomes a two night, them a few days thing he get the shock of his life when the object of his affection tells him the last thing he expect to hears. Can he accept JD on JD’s terms or can he live without the best thing that has happened to him in a long while.

SUMMER FEVER is one of the best m/m books I’ve read in a while. Both JD and Russ are openly gay, and there are no grey areas about them wanting each other - badly. They are however at different place in their life.

Russ wants the white picket fence and that one special person to call his own, while JD is happy with his life as it is - Not having to commit to anyone and enjoying all that’s out there on the weekends for him to sample.

The love scenes are definitely not vanilla. They are hot, without pretense and very satisfying. Catt Ford is fast becoming a must buy author for me, her writing is addictive, her characters are a joy to meet and she had made simply reading a pleasure.
