Lydia Goetz’s latest knitting class, Knit to Quit, brings together an unlikely crew.
Lydia is starting another knitting class. This one is called Knit to Quit and the project is going to be a cable sampler scarf. Three people have joined the class, each with something they need to quit. Phoebe Rylander needs to quit thinking about the fiancé she broke up with for the second time. Alix Turner needs to quit smoking so she can get pregnant. Bryan Hutchinson needs to quit stressing over his company before his life is cut short as his father’s was. As the class meets each week and progress is slowly made on each person’s scarf, the burdens each one bears slowly begin to melt through their fingers. By the end of the class, relationships are formed, relationships are ended, but everyone is a better person and can face the world with their handmade scarf wrapped around their neck.
Debbie Macomber’s passion for knitting once again sparks another
Blossom Street yarn and makes SUMMER ON BLOSSOM STREET an impossible book to put down. You share Phoebe’s heartache, Alix’s frustration,
Bryan’s stress and when the book is finished, you find yourself not wanting it to end. SUMMER ON BLOSSOM STREET is a fun and very readable book you don’t want to miss!
