When Freesia Daniels lost her job in Boston the last thing she wanted to do was run back home to her mom and dad. Unfortunately that is exactly where she found herself, back in Key West with her parents.

When Free left Key West her parents weren't the only ones she left behind, she also left Zachary Gray her best friend and first love. Free was a planner who always wanted to know what the future held and Zach was a drifter who lived for the moment. Eventually the two drifted apart but Free's heart still ached for the man she could never forget. Thinking it is time to let go of her past Free decides to pay Zach a visit.

Zach was more than a little shocked to find Free standing on his boat dock, looking better than ever. He had loved Free and when she left it had broke his heart, seeing her again made him realize he still wasn't over her.

The two of them decide to take a boat ride out to the small island that Zack lives on so he could show Free his place. Zach knew that there was a storm coming but he was sure that they would be back before it hit land. When the hurricane came in faster than they expected Zach and Free were stuck waiting out the storm in his house alone. As the storm blows outside things start heating up inside for Zach and Free. When the storm comes to an end will the spark these two re-ignited end too? Can Zach convince Free to give up her penchant for planning and learn to trust in his love?

SUNSET KEY is a great short story that left me feeling completely satisfied at the end. This is the first book that I have read by author Cassidy Kent and with such great writing talent it will not be the last. I highly recommend you read SUNSET KEY; you will not be disappointed.
