Cole once had the most beautiful woman in his life. A woman who made him laugh, smile and understood his dominant tendencies. But when he accidentally hurt her, he ended their relationship against her wishes. Now, years later, when Cole hears Ren’s laugh, it reawakens something in him and he knows he cannot let this opportunity pass him by.

Ren leads a good life with Lucas Holt. He understands her, takes care of her and provides her with everything she needs. While she does not consider herself madly in love with him, she is loyal to him with every fiber of her being. So, when he decides to give her to Cole for two weeks, Ren’s entire world is shaken. She is torn between two men who mean so much to her. Their love is tearing her heart apart, however. How will she survive?

If you know Maya Banks’ books at all, you know she is an incredibly sensual and erotic writer and SWEET ADDICTION ups the ante on eroticism yet again. This book is sensuality personified. There are numerous sex scenes, but there is also a lot of emotion in this book as Cole tries to woo Ren. She cannot break her bond with Lucas but yes, she definitely wants Cole. There are a lot of mixed emotions in this book. While I was drawn to Lucas myself, longtime readers of Maya Banks will be happy to see Cole in a starring role in this book. He is a man who just wants a second chance. While this book is not my favorite in Maya Banks’ SWEET series, it gives closure to Cole who has been on the search for happiness for a long time. SWEET ADDICTION is scorching and passionate. Readers, expect a sensual game of give and take as Ren, Lucas and Cole figure out what the future holds for them.
