Angelina Moyano has been in love with Micah Hudson for far too long. He is the man who shared a woman, Hannah, with her brother, David, but after David and Hannah’s deaths, Micah withdrew from her life, leaving Angelina more alone than ever. But Angelina is sure now is the time to try again with Micah, to show him how she feels. And if she does not get away from Florida soon, she is afraid of what may happen. Running to Micah is the best opportunity for love and life.

Micah is dismayed when Angelina enters his life again. The chapter of his life involving David and Hannah, and to an extent, Angelina, has been closed for a long time. He does not want to reopen the wound and he certainly cannot be lusting after David’s younger sister. Needless to say, Angelina turns him on in a big way. When he finds out what she truly likes in a partner, he knows he has to stay away or risk falling back into the past. But when danger creeps back into Angelina’s life, there is no way Micah will fail her. By protecting Angelina, he may gain more than he ever imagined. But will this precarious new relationship falter under the past and a dangerous foe?

Sizzle, sex appeal, and sensuality! Maya Banks has it all in SWEET TEMPTATION. I really enjoyed watching Micah’s internal struggle to come to terms with his attraction to Angelina. This man has been through a heck of a lot so it is no wonder he hesitates. However, Angelina has risked plenty herself so she deserves plenty of recognition for going after what she wants. This book is on the inferno side of hot and it shows on every page, both emotionally and physically. The imperfections of these characters truly make this story work even better because they both face some true growth as the story continues. SWEET TEMPTATION is vibrant, it is smoking hot, and it is a great Maya Banks read. You will not want to miss out on this story.
