Instead of going to Vegas for her bachelor party, Katrina Spencer escapes to her father’s private island, alone. Her initial goal is to contemplate her impending marriage to a man she admires, but doesn’t love. She came to find that the passion she craves is something he cannot give.

Soaking up the sun and forgetting all the matters of the world, Katrina suddenly has a visitor interrupting her private getaway. Brock Denton isn’t just any visitor either, but a half-naked blast from her past that literally washed up on her beach shore.

How Brock got there is a mystery, but Katrina soon finds herself running for her life just as much as she was running from it. With Brock by her side, the old flame rekindled, she finds the passion she has craved—even when she’s still engaged to another man.

A novel of danger and desire, SWEPT AWAY kept me breathless until the end. With well-developed characters and a plot full of surprises, Ms. Blake is truly a master at her craft. The world she creates envelops you with a sense that no matter what, love will prevail. I’ve read her other works, as well; and she never fails to deliver a sexy, sophisticated read. I highly recommend this book!
