Ben Hoffman and Justin Bryan are police officers as well as card carrying members of the Service Club. They won’t apologize for who they are or how strong their desires are to possess Marissa. That doesn’t change the fact that they’ve never pushed her to accept them – it’s up to her to come to them. Their wait is over. Ben and Justin take the Miranda rights very seriously; however, those rights don’t apply to everyone. Marissa’s got her very own set of rights and the men thoroughly enjoy invoking them.
Between the fire that was set at her high end kids clothing store and now the perverted naked man spewing filth on her front porch Miranda is an emotional wreck. The only upside to the whole thing is that in addition to Bart Evans, Ben and Justin respond to her 911 call. Bart remains professional and detached, but Miranda has no doubt that Ben and Justin are staking their claim. There’s never been any doubt in her mind that she belongs to them but accepting them and their desires which closely mirror her own scares her in ways she’s terrified to voice. She doesn’t have much choice since neither Ben nor Justin is willing to touch her without her telling them exactly what she wants. It’s the only way to free the sexually repressed woman she’s buried beneath the veneer of respectability. The first edict of MARISSA’S RIGHT is: “you have the right to experience pleasures beyond your wildest erotic thoughts” and they’re more than happy to deliver them all – and add a few of their own.
Wickedly fun with more than a hint of excited trepidation is the best way to describe Tonya Ramagos’ MARISSA’S RIGHTS. The interactions between Ben, Justin and Marissa are sinfully exciting – especially since they insist on her vocalizing her desires. The storyline is fast paced and intense with just the right amount of humor and passion. While the question regarding who’s tormenting Marissa is constantly at the back of your mind as you read. I had to admire her for going after the men she’s come to love – and the way she does it publicly is enough to get your heart pounding and really had me chuckling.
MARISSA’S RIGHTS is the second title in Ms. Ramagos’ SERVICE CLUB series. While it’s not absolutely necessary to read the other titles to fully appreciate this one I believe you’ll get a lot more pleasure from reading the series in order.
The other titles are:
FORTY-EIGHT HOUR BURN
and on October 22, 2012 the fourth book, HANDS ON JUSTICE is due to be released.
