Erin Wilson just wants this day to end.  Walking in on her fiancé and former best friend having fun between the sheets, Erin grabs her stuff and takes off.  Speeding down a long highway just to clear her thoughts, she looks in her mirror and sees flashing blue lights.  Erin is surprised to discover she has just been pulled over by her first love, Dave Bennet, a uniformed, handcuff toting Dave Bennett.  This day might not be as bad as Erin thought.

Dave Bennett was devastated when Erin broke up with him so long ago.  When he comes in contact with her again by pulling her over for speeding, he believes he is due for some answers.  Utilizing the items on his police belt, Dave begins his interrogation of the one woman he has never forgotten.

TAKING ON THE LAW was hot enough to melt just about anything.  To put it simply, this story was full of combustible emotions.  Dave’s ability to dominate Erin was sparks flying, flame-throwing hot.  I especially loved how, even at his most possessive and dominant, Dave was still able to love Erin for the enchanting and captivating woman she was.  I thought their discovery of their enduring mutual love was a perfect addition to this tale.

With D/s being a favorite genre of mine to read, I knew TAKING ON THE LAW would be excellent simply because it was written by Cheyenne McCray.  One of my favorite authors to write BDSM, I find and read everything she writes in this particular genre.  Her talent for portraying characters who are realistic and whose emotions are powerful and sensual just puts me in fan girl mode.  TAKING ON THE LAW is not to be missed!
