Eve Dupree is a super model with an IQ that outshines her beauty. Growing weary of national attention, she moves to a small town to exercise her intellect in developing her own design of a hovercraft. She has always known that deep inside she is a nerd. When she accidentally blows up the engine in her garage, Good Samaritan Charlie tries to rescue her, but Eve won't let him in to see if she is ok. So she agrees to meet him at the local pub. But she is surprised by how handsome he is and is instantly drawn to his nerdy intellect. Although she knows that he will be leaving in a couple of weeks, she can not deny the passion between them. Will Eve let Charlie know her true feelings for him? Or will she be a martyr and let him go to pursue his dream?

Charlie Shepherd is a brilliant electrical engineer who has just accepted an out of state position in a company he has always dreamed of working for. He has not left due to concerns for his mother?s state of mind after his father's death. But now that his mother is working in her sister's bakery designing sexual pastries, he finally feels free to leave. Until he meets the mysterious Eve, a woman so tantalizing that his career aspirations begin to wane. Although he knows he can not get involved with her, the attraction is proving too difficult to deny. Will Charlie's practical, nerdy nature prevail and send him off to his dream job? Or will his love for Eve keep him rooted in his home town?

TALK NERDY TO ME is a delightful romance that will tickle your funny bone, have you reaching for the fan to cool off and grabbing a tissue to dry your eyes. Ms. Thompson draws the reader in with her fun and energetic characters mixed into a mesmerizing plot. I absolutely adored Eve and Charlie. They are so much fun to read you will find yourself cheering them on to have a fairy tale ending. Eve is loving, kind and tired of being known as the pretty one. Charlie is practical, caring, sexy and definitely my kind of man. The secondary characters are just as vigorous and add a lot of pizzazz to the story. I laughed out loud hysterically at the bantering and the different variety of people Ms. Thompson introduced in TALK NERDY TO ME. I highly recommend this charming tale to everyone.
