Mackenzie can’t understand why she picked that particular rodeo to attend after knowing Luke for five years. She also can’t understand why Luke felt it necessary to kiss her just before his event. Memories of that kiss made playing nursemaid difficult. Mac has tried to keep her interest in Luke hidden while he’s staying at her house, but it’s hard to ignore the gorgeous cowboy in the next room.
Soon after Luke moves in, Mac’s home and office are vandalized. She is working on a high-profile case regarding a big local company. She’s sure that the company is responsible for the vandalism in an effort to warn her off. Luke is only certain that Mac needs protection. As he tries to offer his silent protection and help with the case, the two temporary roommates can’t help but indulge in their mutual desire. They are both caught up in the whirlwind of passion that they never expected, but can they give each other up when their short-term arrangement ends?
TASTE OF PASSION is fun and exciting. The Madaris family is back with all their love, enthusiasm, disagreements, and matchmaking. Luke and Mac have a steamy passion that burns up the pages. This is a great read even if you haven’t read the previous Madaris novels. I’d recommend TASTE OF PASSION as a feel-good summer read for all.
