It is a brand new year and plain Jane Smith has made a few New Year's Resolutions.  She is going to change her image, attend her high school reunion and loose her virginity to Ryan Shipman; the most popular boy in school. Practically invisible back then, Jane is now a bestselling author and she is determined to show the in crowd that she has become somebody worth noticing.  After a total makeover and a shopping spree in
New York, Jane has the confidence she needs to face the people who once ignored her.

Jane arrives at her reunion anxious to see Rachel, the only friend she has kept in contact with over the years.  The last person she expects to see is class bad boy, Tanner Elliott.  He is just as sexy and as handsome as she remembers.  Jane is overwhelmed by the attraction she feels when she sees him.  She isn't sure she is any more capable of dealing with these emotions than she was 5 years ago.  She says a brief hello and makes a hasty retreat in search of her best friend, Rachel.

After being introduced, as the most successful graduate of her class, Ryan Shipman asks Jane to dance.  Jane realizes he has changed little over the years.  Arrogant and confident, he thinks he can have any women he wants. Even though he is practically engaged, Jane boldly makes her proposition clear and gives him the key to her room. When Tanner realizes what she has planned, he gives Jane his hotel key and makes her a proposition of his own.

Kay Wilde has created another sensual tale in her TEMPTING FATE: HOLIDAY FANTASIES series. Even though AULD LANG SYNE is a short story, it is a tale full of passion and romance. The attraction between Jane and Tanner is apparent from the moment they set eyes on each other and the chemistry of this couple grabs the reader's attention from the very start.  This is not the first story of Kay Wild's stories that I have read and it definitely will not be the last.

NOTE:  I couldn't find this title for sale on it's own but I did find it in this collection which is available in either print or ebook.
