Mark is enjoying his vacation in a remote cabin in the woods. He does not expect to see anyone while he is there, but is surprised while hiking, when he come upon a camper. Joe is tall, blond, and gorgeous. When Mark sees that Joe is wearing a wedding band he is willing to accept his disappointment …that is until Joe kisses him. Unsure of what is going on, he knows he does not want to fool around with someone already committed to someone else. When a snowstorm hits he finds himself checking on Joe only to discover that Joe has been in an accident. Taking him back to the cabin, Mark learns that Joe now suffers from amnesia. Constant temptation while trapped in a cabin during a snowstorm leads tempers to flare and things begin to quickly heat up between them.

Kate Steele has written a steamy new romance that begins with two men tapped in a cabin in a snowstorm. This incredibly erotic story quickly heats up and explodes into a passion that will leave you sweating on the coldest of days. The interactions between the characters are made interesting by their struggle with temptation. The fact that Joe wears a wedding band and has amnesia is very frustrating and it makes it impossible to put this book down. This story held me captive and begging to discover the truth. Is Joe a jerk that cheats on his spouse or is there another reason why he comes on to Mark? These two men begin a relationship that includes friendship. The way they act with each other leaves you smiling. They are a joy to watch as they struggle between what they know is right and the desire that is burning between them.

There is also a creep factor in this story. Back at work Mark is being harassed. Suspense builds, leaving the feeling that something bad is going to happen. I was frustrated with how the story ended simply because I wanted, no I needed, more. Thank goodness there is a sequel coming, THAW IN WINTER 2, APRIL SHOWERS. APRIL SHOWERS is already on my books to look for list.
