Food poisoning, well meaning gossipmongers, and an unfortunate incident with a cup of coffee turn Tru’s perfect life on its head. Suddenly she has to figure out how to save her marriage from her husband’s young, blonde, and very attractive new boss, save her daughters from the boy who threatens to tear them apart, and save her lifestyle from ruin when the money stops coming in. Throw in her meddling and critical mother and her best friend, Sienna, who’s suddenly unemployed, and Tru finds herself in uncharted territory.
Tru and Sienna hatch a plan to open an escort service where the girls are over forty. Their business becomes a surprising overnight success, but, unfortunately, the other difficulties in Tru’s life aren’t as easy to resolve. With determination and sheer will, Tru finds a way to save her family and prove that it’s never too late to recreate yourself.
I love, love, love this book! Each character is fully developed and necessary to the plot. I laughed out loud at the predicaments Tru and Sienna get themselves into – at times embarrassing myself while reading in public! Having never read Lynn Schnurnberger’s novels before, I didn’t know what to expect. Well, now I know, and I am a fan.
