Gina Haskell has her mind on renovating her museum and it doesn’t include tycoon, Dez Kerrigan, or does it?

Gina has a mission; to save her museum by increasing it’s size to display the many treasures her mentor had collected.  She never imagined becoming the director of a museum would lead her into the arms of her mentor’s suave nephew, Dez Kerrigan.  Asking for help from a friend was the only way she could see to succeed at raising enough money for her venture.  She turns to her friend who works for a television station.  Misunderstanding her friend’s advice leads Gina into one scheme after another, as she tries to stay one step ahead of property developer, Dez Kerrigan.  The man just won’t stop getting in her way and seems to know her every move.  Gina needs to find a way to outfox Dez, the landowner who loves to demolish old buildings.  Dez wants to teach Gina a lesson but she isn’t sure it’s one her heart can withstand, especially when his lessons include kissing.  How can she outmaneuver him and still preserve her museum plus her heart?

This sassy redhead has been nothing but trouble for Dez Kerrigan.  Just when Dez thinks he has the deal of a lifetime, Gina Haskell sends his world crashing.  He sets his bid high in the hope that she will just give up.  Everything he tries turns into a media circus with Gina coming out the winner.  Dez decides to make the media work for him in one last try, with an offer Gina can’t possibly refuse.  Can he tame this beauty and still get this new building project off the ground?  Will she go for his plan and winner take all?

THE BILLIONAIRE BID is a story about the kind of love that sneaks up on you when you least expect it.  LEIGH MICHAELS creates characters that touch my heart and makes me believe in happy endings all over again. Watching the characters grow, I felt a bond with both of them.  The tender moments made me sigh and I couldn’t help but smile as the book came to a close.

LEIGH MICHAELS won’t disappoint her fans with this sweet love story, and the surprises she so artfully weaves into her stories.  I recommend this book to those of you who believe opposites really do attract and love blossoms when you aren’t looking for it.
