It was a month prior to Cherilyn's society wedding when she looked out her bedroom window and found Brighton in her neighbor's tree.  A little over three years ago, Brighton was all she could think about, but her mother insisted he wasn't husband material so Cherilyn gave him up.  But Cherry still lives inside Cherilyn, and Cherry wonders if giving up Brighton was the dumbest thing she had ever done!  She needs to see him again and find out if what she is doing now is right—not just for her family but for herself!

BRIDGE TO BRIGHTON is a relaxing, leisurely afternoon romance.  The kind of story you want to curl up with on a rainy or cold day.  The plot is somewhat predictable but still enjoyable.  Cherry is a woman torn between her social position, her family, fiancĂ© and her bad girl past.  She is very undecided about what she wants out of life and realizes she had better decide quickly as her wedding is very near.  Brighton is a nice guy; he was a bit of a bad boy but nothing too wild but he grown into a good responsible man.  Cherry and Brighton's current relationship is a bit stop and go as both struggle with what they want out of life.  Although the sex scenes are explicit, they do not overpower the story and come towards the end as both leading characters make their decisions about life.  BRIDGE TO BRIGHTON was a nice, quiet little romance that gives you warm, fuzzy feelings as you read.
