Suddenly Cinderella, book 3 - The Cinderella Seduction
Feb 2, 2014 - 5:10:10 PM
Stefanie Stefanopoulos' father is about to lose the family real estate business, which, until now, has been thriving for generations. He was drawn into a Ponzi scheme by Stefanie's former fiancé, who made off with three million dollars three months ago. To make matters even worse, a loan from a friend is being called in by the son, Nikalaos, who has taken over the reins. Stefanie is a personal chef who owns her own catering company, but she is also on the board of the family business. If her father cannot come up with the money, he will have to start selling off his assets, starting with his dream, a waterfront retirement village targeted for Greek and Greek American seniors. To give him additional time to come up with the money, Stefanie's father asks her to entertain Nikalaos and show him around town, hoping he will forgive the debt. Feeling guilty for bringing her former fiancé into their lives, Stefanie agrees. After doing some research and discovering Nikalaos' playboy lifestyle, she decides to try a little seduction to capture his interest.
Four months ago, Greek tycoon Nikolaos 'Nick' Costas discovered he has a seven-year-old daughter, Mara, who has lived in an orphanage all her life. Seeing the condition of the orphanage, he decides to do what he can to improve the place. So he has earmarked the two and a half million owed by Stefanie's family business for that project. So far, he has been unable to obtain the money, so he goes to America to meet the man face-to-face and he doesn't plan to leave without it. Prior to finding his daughter, Nick had devoted much of his life to pleasure, but he no longer has the time or inclination for such pursuits. Instead, he wants to find a wife so that Mara will have a mother. However, he wants someone he can love, so he can enjoy a relationship like the one between his parents.
As soon as Nick meets Stefanie, he is drawn to her and the fact that she interacts so well with Mara is a bonus. Although he is eager to meet with Stefanie's father and collect the money due his company, he enjoys the time spent with Stefanie.
While Stefanie takes the two on a tour of the city, her plans to seduce Nick heat up, but she doesn't count on losing her heart to the man and his daughter. Can they have a future together, or will their business dealings end any future they might have had?
An enchanting tale, THE CINDERELLA SEDUCTION, the third book in author Hope Tarr's SUDDENLY CINDERELLA series, is a charming, sensual, contemporary romance that will keep you entranced. Hope, heat and happiness are the mainstays of this delightful novel. Reminiscent of the CINDERELLA fairytale, this story includes a wicked stepmother, two wicked stepsisters, a gallant Prince Charming and a pair of magical slippers, although in this tale, the prince is Greek and as the story unfolds, readers will find it a bit spicier than the fairytale.
A true delight, this story can be read as a standalone, but if you are like me, as soon as you finish this novel, you will go in search of the rest of the series, which centers on a pair of magical red slippers. I enjoy Ms. Tarr's work a great deal and this book is proof of why. It does not disappoint and leaves you eager for another taste of her magic. Be sure to pick up a copy of THE CINDERELLA SEDUCTION!
