Renouncing the "thrall" is easier said than done for Mason de Cimmerian, once a legend and the greatest magicreator in the land. It calls and beckons for him constantly. Only the love of his wife, the queen, Perion can save him.

Perion will do everything she can to save her husband from the magic that calls him. He gave up his life as the greatest magicreator for her, and she will do anything in her power for him. She does not want to see him fall back under the spell of the dark thrall.

When the thrall is the most tempting to Mason, Perion has found that the only force strong enough to keep him safe is her love—and making love with him. She even found and read a book on all forms of sexual arts in order to perfect her lovemaking techniques. They are like a honeymooning couple with all the time they spend making love locked in their chambers.

Although this was a sequel of sorts to the book, Exaltation of Larks, I found THE COLD CLEAR LIGHT OF MORNING self-explanatory, and a quick pleasurable read. A very sexual, and highly stimulating story, this is one you want to read if your lover is near—otherwise it is cold shower time! Ms. Hart is a number one storyteller, and manages to snag the reader’s attention from the beginning. It is always great to read another one of her books, and I am constantly on the watch to see what she will come up with next!
