Rodeo cowboy Brody Creed is always on the move until a run-in
with his long estranged twin sends him back home for the first time in years. Brody doesn't exactly fit in back home. He's the black sheep of the family as the bad boy, while his family are very family and land oriented. Carolyn Simmons is looking for Mr. Right to help take care of her biological clock, which she can hear ticking louder by the minute. Brody Creed is everything she doesn't want but everything she needs.

First thing to know is that this is the third book in the CREED COWBOY series. It can be read as a stand alone even though it has some recurring characters from the first two books. It never becomes confusing for the reader if they don't know the previous happenings. Second thing to know is that I'm a southern gal. I was born and raised mostly in West Virginia. So I know more then a few things about southern accents and cowboys. I was really pleased with how well she was able to portray southern culture. She obviously put in quite a bit of research and applied situations from some of her own life.

I fell in love with both Brody and Carolyn. The author portrays them so well that I could feel the pain each went through. They seemed like the type of characters that could jump off the page and be real life people. The characters grabbed the imagination and did not let go until the very last word. The story had situations that anyone could relate to in one way or another, and that brought the book closer to my heart. The world that the author has invented seems as if it could be a town in Texas or any other southern state.

I recommend this book to all cowboy lovers, western fans and fans of boys with a southern drawl. It has something for fans of all types of stories.
