Janae Palmer is a book reviewer for Midwest Library Association.  She is faced with meeting a tight deadline.  Her concentration is blocked by her upstairs neighbor, Owen Quinlan.  He insists on playing music that is loud enough to rattle the walls of her apartment.  Janae knows that if she has any chance of meeting her deadline, she must confront Owen.

Owen Quinlan was injured in a rodeo accident.  He spends his days recovering from his accident that almost claimed his life.  To forget the pain that he is in, he enjoys painting and listening to country music.  Owen did not expect a visit from his downstairs neighbor Janae Palmer.  Up close he is captivated by her beauty.

Janae is taken back by the picture Owen presents.  His sex appeal is evident, and her mind quickly starts to create fantasies of Owen and her together.  Will Janae be able to turn her fantasies into reality?

THE DANCE is a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon.  Kaye Spencer has written a story that will delight all romance readers.  As I read THE DANCE, I felt like I was reading a page out of my own life, for there is many similarities that Janae and I share. It was refreshing to see something that could have happened in my own life be published in print.
