The Wolfe Proxy

Quinton Wolfe is furious when he discovers that part of his company’s shares now belong to a silly air headed girl. He is determined to protect his company and that means getting Miss Jennifer Bowman and her shares securely under his control. He has no problem seducing her if need be. He will do whatever it takes to keep the company his father built and its workers from ruin.

Max Bowman is suspicious of Quinton Wolfe from the moment they meet. He is very familiar with the CEO’s type. The man may be gorgeous but his reputation is that of a cold-hearted business man and an indiscriminant playboy. Max knows exactly what Quinton is capable of and he is determined to prevent Quinton from hurting his sister.

Jenn is incredibly excited to have the opportunity to learn from Quinton. She has no idea of the plots and manipulations that are going on around her. When Quinton offers to take her out she happily accepts. Max immediately takes steps to keep Jenn and her new boss apart. However, when he confronts Quinton he gets much more than he bargained for.

T.D. McKinney and Terry Wylis have written a sensual and fanciful contemporary romance novel. Quinton and Max have a similar outlook on relationships. They enjoy casual encounters but they never allow anyone to get close to them. Love changes both of these men for the better. Quinton and Max’s reactions to each other are immediate and intense. I don’t often find love at first sight believable but THE WOLFE PROXY is a notable exception. I found the instant and passionate connection formed by the heroes to be very believable and very appealing.
