Jacqueline Massey’s father and impending fiancée used her as a decoy to lure pirates to their deaths.  She posed as a barmaid at a local pub; the position allowed her to get close to the pirates.  The information they whispered in her ear was turned into her father, who with the help of the American Navy, managed to capture them.

From the moment the man entered into the pub he gained Jacqueline’s attention.  She knew from his air of confidence and beauty that he radiated that he was a pirate.  Jacqueline positioned herself to get closer to the man of mystery.

He was known throughout the land as the Black Thief of the Islands, few knew his real name was Ethan Williams.  With a few days before Christmas, he had docked his ship and allowed his crew to find merriment on the island.  For himself he sought a warm meal and companionship to fill the lonely impeding holiday hours.

The local barmaid caught his eye; he recognized she was a lady underneath her common clothes.  He came to her defense when one of the local bar occupants wished to try and force his attention on her.  He could not resist taking her to his ship; there was something about Jacqueline that commanded him to get closer to her.

Ethan felt he could trust Jacqueline there was a holy pureness that seemed to surround her.  When he learns of her plot to deceive him will it be too late for him to save himself?

ANGEL’S MASTER is an exceptional historical romance!  Sandra Sookoo has outdone herself in writing this wonderful tale.  This is just the type of romance you want to be snowed in with.  It offers a superb plot, high action drama, and characters so worthy of love.  This is one of the best historical romances that I have ever discovered. I look forward to reading more of Sandra Sookoo’s future works.
