Within the pages of this enthralling romance is a commanding plot woven with rich details of the era and a vigorous passion that explodes between two mesmerizing characters.
I absolutely adored Rose. She is a commanding presence while on the stage, yet she is quite reserved when she is among other people. She has a big heart and feels that she has to do everything she is told to do. But I loved her more for following her heart, even though she knew it could lead to doom. Flynn is my hero. He is charming, sexy and has forgotten that family and love come before work and play. He falls head over heels for Rose even though he is a tenuous situation. I laughed at all the antics, tensed when the situation became treacherous and my heart soared when two souls became one. It was fun to revisit some of the past characters and read about the new ones. They certainly add a lot of pizazz to the story.
I highly recommend INNOCENCE AND IMPROPRIETY and this will definitely be going on the top shelf with the rest of Ms. Gaston’s works of arts. This charming tale will leave you feeling completely fulfilled.
