When another angel, a very beautiful and powerful angel, appears beside her, the cherub is surprised and nervous. When she realizes that this angel is Samael, the long-ago banished archangel formerly known as Lucifer, she is afraid. But Samael is no longer the ruler of Hell, and he is lonely too…and missing the peace and joy that exists beyond the pearly gates.
As the cherub, whom Samael names Angel, becomes more relaxed in the presence of this powerful being, and as Samael becomes more entranced with the beauty and innocence of Angel, they begin to realize that perhaps they can find bliss in each other’s company and in each other’s arms.
I can honestly say that I wasn’t expecting HELL’S ANGEL to be anything other than a fun and sexy novella set in the world of author Jackie Kessler’s HELL ON EARTH series…and boy, was I wrong. Ms. Keller manages to pack in an entire novel’s worth of conflict, emotion and sexual tension in this story and the result is such a powerful and beautiful read that I really don’t know how to describe it other than as a perfectly satisfying romance. For anyone who has never read this author before, even if you’re not a huge fan of paranormal romance, I highly recommend picking up a copy of HELL’S ANGEL this Valentine’s Day and find out what you’ve been missing.
