First off, I would like to be clear about some statements that I made in my pervious reviews of EVE OF DARKNESS (Book 1) and EVE OF DESTRUCTION (Book 2) – it was originally promoted that the Marked Series was a trilogy; however, I have since learned that Eve Hollis’ saga will continue on in many more books to come especially since EVE OF CHAOS ended with a mysterious cliffhanger that left me eager to get my hands on the next exciting release.
S. J. Day’s EVE OF CHAOS picked right up where EVE OF DESTRUCTION left off. And, although Ms. Day does an excellent job of giving historical information, I would strongly suggest read this thrilling series in release date order to totally understand the forever chaotic life of Eve Hollis. Just as in its two predecessors ,EVE OF CHOAS was filled with thrilling adventure, suspenseful mysteries and a serious love triangle. Eve’s emotions were riding on a treacherous roller coaster, as she was still stuck in the middle of Cain and Abel’s war to claim her as his woman all while trying to get Satan off her back. Eve fans will definitely like this latest installment as it answers some important key questions from the previous two novels, all while opening the door for many new mysteries yet to come. Readers, you can’t go wrong with this spine-tingling, urban series. Enjoy!
