Rachel needs a place to stay quickly.  The fall semester is about to start and all the good places have been taken.  She spies a house sitting ad in the paper, she applies and is quickly approved.  The Sherman‘s are a screen writing couple with some cats that need tending while they are away for four months on a location shoot.  They are extremely happy with Rachael, and after a short tour, they leave.  Rachael can not believe her luck; she gets to stay in a mansion for the next four months.  She even thinks finding Greg in bed with Stephanie might have been the beginning of her changing luck.

Lorenzo shows up at the mansion and Rachael is not happy.  Rachael's friend Beth had called Greg's place and asked Lorenzo to deliver her stuff from Greg's place.  He thought he was doing Rachael a favor.  He is not happy that she will be staying at the mansion alone.  He doesn't think it is safe.

Rachael finally concedes and realizes that she needs Lorenzo's help with all of her stuff.  She won't need the bigger pieces and will store them in the study.  She and Lorenzo have a chat after they get all of her stuff situated.  Lorenzo is fine eye candy to Rachael.  Lorenzo thinks Greg is a first class a**hole for cheating on Rachael.  Could these two have a relationship?  Rachael thought she saw a mysterious woman in a white bathing suit the night before, swimming laps in the pool.  The woman looked up and waved at her.  Was it just a dream?  Did she just see a ghost?  Curious?  Then come along with me as I read and find out.

Ms. Wilde did a great job with HOLLYWOOD GHOSTS.  I was glad to see Rachael do well after being cheated on by Greg.  Is the mansion haunted or is it the people in the mansion that are haunted?  It was fun discovering Ms. Wilde's concept of that.  I think the paranormal aspect of this story is what I enjoyed most.  This story was well written, gracefully fluid and had a warm romance as well.  Nothing to be disappointed about here.
