On such a night after fighting several nasty Demons Stephan ventures into a night club called the Silver Twilight. Stephan had not been into this night club since before his life and that of his friends changed for ever in a horrifying act of betrayal. Stephan always vigilant scans the club and its many dark shadows for evil that could lurk there. An exotic dancer catches Stephan’s eye. She’s beautiful with swirling silver mists and her almost transparent costume he is instantly mesmerized by her mystical performance and so is every man in the club.
Mariah puts everything into her dancing using her past pain and a betrayal as inspiration. Ignoring the admiring glances from the men in the room; she collects their money with indifference. Mariah lives with her friend and roommate Twyla who is a jewellery designer who likes to add just a little magic to her creations. But on a night while walking home Mariah is attacked and the events that follow with change hers and Twyla’s lives forever. Fortunately, Stephan comes along and saves Mariah. Mariah is drawn to Stephan and the passion between them is almost instantaneous.
The story that unfolds from the Legacy that will entwine their lives to their fight against the Dread Lords and Demons is fast furious action packed erotic delight. Each and every one of the many characters are interesting and exciting and so well developed you long to know more.
The explosive love scenes will leave you panting. The action and suspense are thrilling and will leave you breathless. Ashleigh Raine’s use of witty dialogue will have you laughing with some highly charged emotional scenes this incredible story within LOVER’S TALISMAN is a fantastic novel and a beginning of a new and exciting thrilling series. LOVER’S TALISMAN kept me up till the early hours of the morning. I was unable to stop reading from the prologue to the end, Ashleigh Raine’s novel held me within its grasp.
The Dynamic Duo that make up Ashleigh Raine have done it again this talented duo have created a fabulous exciting book that is a must read for those of you that love hot spice and action packed excitement with a touch of humour make for some delightfully delicious hours of entertainment. I look forward with anticipation to reading more of the series and seeing the characters grow and watch their fight against evil.
LOVER’S TALISMAN to me is a first class novel and one that I will read over and over again.
