Animal Cop Krystal Maxey has her sights set on a viscous animal abuser known as “Preacher Man.” He’s eluded her for far too long. She wants justice and the time is now.

Finally finding the elusive criminal, she sets up a raid at his house, but things go wrong. The preacher man has a wolf inside and Krystal must choose between making an arrest or saving the animal’s life. She helps the wolf, only the animal is more than meets the eye.

Shape Shifter Damon is a lone man/wolf with no past, no memories and no future. Somehow, he understands that he escaped from some sort of lab where medical experiments were done on him. Somehow, he knows that he must be careful less he be recaptured. But, how can he protect himself when he can’t remember who the enemies are?

When Krystal comes to Damon’s aid, he finds an ally for perhaps the first time in his life. Maybe she is even more. If, by chance, Krystal would even want him, can a man with no status create a future without a past? Is he even capable of rejoining society?

The future is definitely in question. Krystal will not stop until she catches the preacher man, but she may not have to worry. The tables are about to turn and she will be the one chased. When Damon tries to help her, he must be careful. Too much attention may attract the men that he escaped from.
