Amanda Deveraux comes from a magically inclined family, but unlike the rest of her relatives who embrace their gifts, she just wants to lead a normal life. Instead of killing Amanda and Kyrian, he releases them, giving them a twenty-four hour period in which to hide. Kyrian’s duty is now to protect Amanda, but being in such close quarters with the alluring woman is wearing him thin. It isn’t helping that she’s just as drawn to him as he is her. Their attraction soon develops into something much deeper as they come to know one another. Kyrian begins to wish for things he knows are impossible. He throws himself into coming up with a plan to defeat Desiderius. Although he may not be able to give Amanda the love she dreams of, he can see that her safety is taken care of. Amanda isn’t giving up on Kyrian and is determined to find a way for them to be together. However, she never dreamed the stakes could so high.

 

 

NIGHT PLEASURES is a fast-paced sensuous read that grabs on and doesn’t let go. It had me fantasizing for days after the book was closed and has found a permanent spot among my favorites. Sherrilyn Kenyon should come with a warning label that reads may cause sensory overload. Her writing is highly addictive and the intensity she delivers is amazing. A blend of magic, updated vampires, Greek mythology, and a new breed all her own, there is never a dull moment in this quickly moving storyline. This is an absolute must read!
