Keelin Haverland has been trying to get Sank Crenshaw to notice her for longer than she cares to admit.  She thinks they were made for each other, and the dreams of her and a handsome warrior she believes to be Sank only adds fuel to her convictions.  However, Keelin is thrown for a loop when another man mysteriously appears who is almost identical to Sank.  Claiming to be a Viking from the past, mystery man Erik tells her of his plans to bring her back to his time.  Keelin ignores the strong pull she feels toward him, refusing to believe the ridiculous time travel story or to be wooed by the alpha male.

 

 

Nevertheless, Keelin soon finds herself whisked away by Erik to the time of the Vikings and now must learn to cope with a new way of life. Though Erik desires the strange woman he brought back, he is reluctant to take her as his wife, so instead he makes her his slave until he can figure things out.  As Erik sets out to tame the modern woman to do his will, he begins to realize that she has tamed his heart.  Keelin is torn between giving into her love for Erik and continuing to search for a way home.

 

 

ON THE SILVER EDGE OF TIME is a wonderful read that encompasses both historical and fantasy aspects that are sure to please.  Ciara Gold’s research into the time period really shows; the fun facts and details she put into her Viking world enhanced the story greatly.  The dialogue, detailed descriptions of both the past and the future, and the memorable characters all make for an entertaining read.  Get caught up by ON THE SILVER EDGE OF TIME; this awesome time travel tale contains hot Vikings, a bit of swordplay and a charming romance.
