Ms. Eden created an interesting paranormal tale that is well-written and entertaining throughout. I enjoyed Anna and Jon’s relationship and the way Jon took it upon himself to take care of her, though he didn’t have to. Overall, the story is exciting and erotic, and a perfect way to ring in the New Year.
Night Resolutions by Diana Mercury
Chantal decides the upcoming New Years Eve party is the perfect place to seduce her boyfriend Billy. While at the lavish estate, she meets Jake, Billy’s best friend. Chantal and Jake start spending time together and their attraction becomes evident. But both are keeping secrets from the other, each having their own reasons for attending the party. Yet Jake’s reason for being at the party takes an unplanned twist.
This story’s events surprised me. Ms. Mercury pens a hot tale full of twists and turns that keep the reader engrossed in the story line just to see what happens next. This is a nice tale about a couple that deserves to be together.
Snow Blind by Virginia Reed
Julie won a trip to a ski resort cabin for New Year’s weekend and decided to invite her boyfriend, best friend and his girlfriend to celebrate the holiday with her. Though upon arrival, Jules finds she’s more interested in her best friend, Gerry, than the other two guests, and would rather spend her time with him. Could it be after all these years Jules one true love was right under her nose and she was too blind to see?
This story will make you laugh out loud and sigh in content simultaneously. I applaud the character Gerry for being there for Jules when she needed him, in more ways than one. Ms. Reed pens a wonderful tale of a sweet love story that isn’t to be missed. This story is a wonderful addition to this anthology.http://www.toniandrews.com/virginiareede/index.htm
Coming on Strong by: Denise Rossetti
Gina’s cousin Luc sent her to the airport to pick up his friend Sam Jones from
Australia. Upon first sight, Gina feels an attraction to him, but her secret threatens to end any chance of a relationship before it begins. She’s part dragon, and no man in his right mind would put up with that kind of deformity. Or curse, as the case may seem to her.
This story is a wonderful end to this anthology. It’s exciting to watch Gina and Sam’s relationship develop on the pages. I wondered how Sam would take the news of her secret and thought Ms. Rossetti did an excellent job conveying Gina and Sam’s emotions to the reader.
A perfect way to spend New Years; A RED HOT NEW YEAR is the kind of anthology that has a little something for everyone. Each story was great for different reasons, taking the reader on a sensual journey along with the characters as they discovered true love. These four authors are definitely a great group of writers, making A RED HOT NEW YEAR a book not to be missed.
